VFAX User Instructions
Your Inbound Fax Number
- Refer to the email for fax number confirmation.
Where Inbound Faxes Arrive
Inbound faxes will be sent to the email address we have on file for this VFAX.
- Refer to the email for email address confirmation.
Outbound faxes can only be sent from the email referenced above. Additional senders can be added upon request.
Outbound Fax Using Email
- In the “To:” field, enter the 10 or 11 digit number of the fax machine you are sending to (i.e.
801xxxxxxx@fax.firstdigital.com). - The “Subject:” field is equal to the “RE:” field of a fax cover sheet — basically, a brief description/reason for the fax.
- Body of the email: the email acts as a fax cover page. Add additional information you would like to provide to the fax recipient.
- Attachments: attach documentation to the email as a PDF and hit send.
Inbound Faxing
- Sender faxes to your fax number like a normal physical fax machine.
- When someone faxes your fax number, the fax will be converted to a PDF.
- The fax will come to the inbox of the email address mentioned above.
- You can review the fax via your computer.
